DESCRIPTION:
Enjoy your morning coffee overlooking the lagoon and the Indian Ocean, OR pour your sun-downers with your braai on the covered patio whilst admiring those views.
This lovely cottage, right on the water is as close to the lagoon as you are going to get. Situated at the very front of the property, edging the water, it is suitable for a family of 6.
The Boat house offers direct lagoon and beach access.
Whilst you cannot launch a boat off the property, you can moor in front of the property during the day, when the lagoon is full enough. Use communal launch site, get access from the Ski-boat club on the beach, normal skippers rules apply for the use of boats, water ski’s or Jet Ski’s.
There is a communal pool (not netted) with outdoor furniture.
On the veranda there is a built-in charcoal braai, we suggest you bring a Webber for braai-ing around the pool.
The large veranda at the front of The Boat house as well as the side veranda has splendid views and is furnished.
Uncapped Wi-Fi & DSTV is provided.
The Boat house contains the following:
Upstairs: Open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen, which exits onto a large front and additional side veranda.
Kitchen: gas hob, electric oven microwave, stove, fridge/freezer, all cutlery and crockery.
2 Bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The upstairs bedrooms have 1 double bed and 2 single beds. Bathroom: shower, bath with basin and toilet can be used separate from one another.
Downstairs: there is a large bedroom with its own entrance. It houses a king size bed and has an on-suite bathroom which has a toilet, basin and bath.
All linen, towels and beach towels are supplied. All rooms have rechargeable lights, ceiling fans, hangers and built-in cupboards.
The Boat house is serviced, laundry not included. Laundry for longer stays can be negotiate with onsite staff at an additional charge.
The property does not offer garages, but does have secure open parking with in the property walls.
The property is secured by fencing, gates and beams which is serviced by armed response.
Note: the driveway to this property is very steep and not suitable to take a boat down. Small children much be watched at all times around the edge of the lagoon and open pool.
REGRET: NO groups of adults, we cater for “nucleus” family holidays only. NO functions of any kind. No pets allowed.
ADDITIONAL CHARGES: Admin fee: R400 once off. Staff levy: daily rate R300. Breakage deposit: 10% of the value of the accommodation charge, with a minimum of R2500, refundable if there are no breakages.

Out of season: R2100.00: Min 2 nights (dates not Mid/In or Peak Season)
Mid-season: R2700.00: Min 2 – 5 nights.
Below are the Mid-season dates: 20 – 25 Feb 25; 22 April to 4 May 25; 22 – 26 May 25; 13 – 16 June 25; 27 June to 21 July 25; 8 Aug to 2 Sept 25; 24 Sept to 13 Oct 25; 16 – 21 Oct 25; 30 Oct to 3 Nov 25.
In Season: R3300.00: 4 – 7 Nights min: 20 Mar to 21 April 25.
PEAK SEASON:
1 to 11 Dec @ R3300 per night, min 7 nights.
12 Dec to 15 Jan @ R3900 per night, season’s rules apply.
16 Jan to 31 Jan – R2100 per night, min 2 nights.
PEAK SEASON: Minimum stay requirement below: Dec & Jan – kindly enquire for shorter stays.
- Should you wish to include Christmas and New Year in your booking, the minimum stay requirement are 10 – 14 nights.
- Should you wish to ONLY include Christmas in your booking, the minimum stay requirements are 7 – 10 nights, these 7 – 10 nights may not end later that the 27th or 28th of Dec.
- Should you wish to ONLY include New Year in your booking, the minimum stay requirements are 7 – 10 nights and may not start earlier than the 27th or 28th of Dec.
- Lesser stays before and after this period (a minimum of 5 nights) may be considered once the owner has their primary booking in place and secured.
PLEASE NOTE: Things to do noted under amenities does not refer to ON-SITE activities, but rather activities in Zinkwazi and/or the area. You do need your own transport and gear for all of those mentioned.
